During my stay, I loved that I was only a short drive from Battle Park, which offered beautiful walking trails and views, and just a quick ride to City Lake Park for some relaxing park vibes. the whole area felt so accessible and fun.

Candlewood Suites in Rocky Mount is a gem! The queen suite was super clean, with a kitchenette that made snack time a breeze. Plus, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home! And don't even get me started on the nearby Bojangles'—their biscuits are legendary!

But I would’ve loved a breakfast option. their Cupboard is nice, but a hot breakfast would really hit the spot! Also, the coffee situation could use a little boost. just one pack in the room didn’t cut it.

We stayed for 5 nights in a one-bedroom king suite. The space was really roomy and worth the money. The staff were super nice, like Bianca, who went out of her way to help us! Unfortunately, the tub was draining slow and there was a bit of black mold above it. The picnic area was a nice spot to chill, though.
